For instance, if Bernie Sanders mobilized Antifa and other terrorist groups to overthrow the US government, it likely wouldn't be safe to merely imprison Bernie Sanders because his supporters would rally and try to break him out. El Chapo, the leader of a murderous cartel who repeatedly escaped prison, is another great example. If you can't contain the leader of a violent organization responsible for countless murders, you need to execute them.
