I know he had to die to Sansa in the end, that was always obvious, but Bran basically told him that he can see the past and knows what he's up to... so he conspires against Arya? Either you try to kill Bran or you immediately leave Winterfell, but you don't just continue on as normal. Even if you assume Bran told Sansa and Arya everything happening off-screen and that Littlefinger's plan would have worked otherwise (which undoes the entire "Sansa overcoming Littlefinger" part), it still makes no sense that Littlefinger just ignored Bran.
