Betances threw at the first batter in the inning on an 0-1 count in a tie game in the middle of a playoff race where he was already the fourth Yankee pitcher, knowing full well it would get him ejected and another guy would have to come in with little to no warm-up time. That makes sense. Anything they gave to Dellin, they would've had to give to Fulmer too, and they obviously weren't willing to do that even though Fulmer's looked way more intentional in the first place.
