That doesn't affect the function of the ability, though - there's no practical difference if Reinhardt blocks a bunch of Junkrat grenades or D. Va eats them, because either way the grenades don't do damage to the tank's team. Actually there is, because Reinhardt's shield sustains damage and can't be used to strategically block all incoming damage without being destroyed.
