I'll answer your Yes or No question first because it's quicker: The answer is no

As for the first part of your post: the black sky is still vague to us (the viewers) in Daredevil season 1

the black sky was a young boy who was killed by stick.

In the Defenders, Elektra replaced this unknown child as the black sky. But what does this mean exactly? Is the black sky just a title given to a skilled killer? Or something more? Who, if anyone will become the black sky after Elektra?

But honestly we don't know the answers to those questions. The black sky is still a mystery. One that might not be answered because the hand is seemingly wiped out.

Personal thought/ end season spoil: I think Gao is very much alive, but that's just a hunch

I agree I was annoyed with how well they wiped out the hand, just because in the comics they were practically an immortal group; they just kept popping back up over centuries, much like Hydra.
In the show the heroes seriously just mopped up the hand, one finger at a time. And I was sitting there like "these guys are supposed to have been around for hundreds of years and they're being defeated by (comparably) rookies?"

The MCU in general likes to end story arcs relatively quickly compared to their comic counterpart, so I guess I just need to get used to that.

Also Stick and the chaste are all dead? So the Hand is wiped out and the Chaste are wiped out.
That's a lot of Daredevil lore gone so quickly.

Also also, Stone (a memeber of the chaste and a pupil of Stick) was shown in a scene in Daredevil (I don't remember which season), and he's not even mentioned again?
Why tease a character just to suggest he died off screen. Most viewers probably forgot about him because he was presented as this mystery-for-a-later-date and put on the back burner.
So it doesn't seem right that he's just gone.
Then again maybe Stick was lying about ALL the chaste being wiped out because he didn't want them to know about Stone.
