Apparently, Rick and Morty is back and better than ever! Largely due to the four new female writers they added to the team, for some reason.

Well, if season 3 is suddenly weaker than the two previous, that's a funny coincidence.

For the record, I think Season 3 has been okay so far.

I think the bigger issue is the creator's divorce. He sort exercises the majority of creative control over the product. It's weird that you instantly jump to the conclusion that it's the women working for him and not the man in charge.

Saying "professional man is too incapable of handling his emotions that he completely wrecks show due to personal reasons" is a better assumption than a team of new writers? Lol k. SJ gon W

I'm not being especially serious, but according to the full interview, most of the new female writers have very few writing credits attached to their resumes. I think the only show mentioned that the "veteran" of the 4 worked on was Robot Chicken. I don't think that's the only one, obviously, but I think it was the big one they mentioned.

But, yes, changing up the writers on a show can impact it's quality or change it's direction a bit. For better or worse.
