To be fair, they do get an effective boost to their SAT score of over 200 for marking that they're black, in terms of admissions.

According to a Princeton study, African Americans were admitted into colleges as though their SAT scores were ~230 points higher than they actually were.

My friend has been trying to get into the FDNY.. Scored very high on all tests but was passed over for someone with lower scores because he was not the correct race. Diversity is fine, but racial diversity for the sake of diversity is very unfair.
Diversity does seem to translate to 'less white people' a lot of the time ---
