Outback Steakhouse is one of the highest quality restaurants when it comes to their ingredients and how they prep their food every day. Outback is the edgy answer. It's definitely overpriced for what it is and they try to pass it off as fine dining when it isn't but it's far from the worst They essentially are fine dining. All of their steaks are choice or prime, and it doesn't get any better than that. Their shrimp is peeled on site. Their dressings made in house with fresh ingredients. Their salmon and lobster are wild caught. Their pasta cooked to order, which most Italian places don't even do. Their mashed potatoes are made five pounds at a time from house punched potatoes, even though it's way cheaper and easier to get them prebagged like most places have started doing. Even their onions for their bloomin onions are cut, prepped, and punched daily. I have worked at many restaurants, and still to this day Outback Steakhouse is the highest quality restaurant I have ever worked at.
