But the Pinewood Derby always seemed to me to be a case where the Scouts' dads all got to design the racers for them, because none of us were making our own, and none of us really seemed all that invested in the process. I mean, I basically had to create a car I KNEW was going to lose solely to amuse myself by the end of the thing. Seems like the South Park episode was accurate --- Never write off the Doctor! ...
