The original show was pretty funny for the first season or so, but it was already starting to go downhill pretty damned quick during the second season (shortly before Nickelodeon would up kicking John Kricfalusi off the show because he was slowly going more and more insane). By the end it was pretty bad. The Adult Party Cartoon was absolutely terrible because John Kricfalusi got the rights to the show back, and again, John Kricfalusi has basically been slowly going more and more insane since the 1980s.
