| Entity13 07/15/17 5:35:12 PM #223: | I liked the first "Toy Story" alright, not as anything super special but as a basically fine film, but barely anything beyond that. What irritates me most is over exposure. A prime example of this is the Minions, who honestly need to be shot into the Sun along with their creator. The first "Despicable Me" film was again a fine movie, but was overplayed, by its own right. The minions dragged it down even before they flooded oh so many things. My favorite of those CG family pictures is "The Incredibles," but I was only ever able to enjoy it by ignoring how much or how little society cared for it. I had to actively avoid as much mention of it as I could, because somehow popularity just ruins these things for me. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
