Couple of work benches, and some hardware. I'd like to grab a vega card, new PSU, maybe try to get into sub-ambient cooling. (TEK or CC).

idk what I'd do with the rest of the money. Probably get some parts for hwbot's team comp that's going on right now to see if I can grab MVP for /r/overclocking.

Sounds like work to me, but if it makes you happy, that is great.

My hobby is computer hardware. I spent a good 2 months analyzing Ryzen's performance after it came out. People have told me I should make Youtube videos because I'm so knowledgeable on hardware (but I don't have a recording space for that stuff).

Sweet. Yeah I wish I did a bit more research.I got this great gaming laptop that I thought said it was all ready for VR etc, only to find out that the Nvidia GTX 965M isn't strong enough to run the Occulus Rift (anf for that matter I guess most laptops even with the most expensive GPUs can't).

I'd say it was false advertising, but I bought it like 7 months ago and don't even remember for sure what it said (pretty sure it said it was VR ready). Not about to spend another 1000$ though to get a VR ready rig sigh.

I do love computers and have built my own in the past, but can't really build a laptop, and figured it was time to switch to one. Guess that was a mistake.
