| TigerTycoon 07/13/17 5:16:07 PM #18: | I get that they want to make sure the people adopting are good people that can support a kid but the process in the U.S. seems overly rigid when you consider that the orphanage is probably a worse place than with most people who'd want to adopt. You're talking about people who could much more easily get a child through normal conception, artificial insemination (if they can't conceive normally), or hiring a surrogate mother to give birth, than adopt. If you make it too hard to adopt people will just choose an easier way to get a kid. You're practically dooming most of the kids to stay in the orphanage. --- YOU COULDN'T AFFORD IT! ...
