The problem with that is most 14 year olds are idiots who just wanna play VGs and browse the internet for a living. Schools(especially public high schools) need to be more involved in helping students figure out what careers are a good fit for them rather than just "here's how to write a resume, now get a damn job!"

and that "make it hard to switch careers" thing? That's exactly what's wrong with society today, it's too hard to switch careers already and those jobs are vanishing. hence Trumpy's "omg, we need moar coal!" despite coal being an outdated resource
