I work at.

Theres a customer who comes in our store and scams us multiple times a week. I dont feel like going into detail what she does, but she's been doing this for a while.

So, Ive been talking to loss prevention, and he monitors her, but she doesnt actually physically steal, so while he is trying to catch her, he hasnt had much luck. but he is taking it very seriously.

So, I talked to one of the managers in the store, and he said pretty much they're working on getting her banned but they cant mess up or itll look bad, she'll complain to higher ups and higher ups and then will be let back in to only screw us further. Kinda got a hopeful but ultimately safe answer.

So the other day LP was watching her(because she is crazy and frauds us. no other reason), she took offense, complained to a manager(new to our store, unaware of what shes been doing, etc), so he seemd sympathetic.

Now ive been told loss prevention can NO LONGER monitor her. He kinda has to ignore her. Which, to me sounds crazy. Like telling a cop he cant investigate a robbery because the crook might get upset.

So, I am going to write up a letter including all the offenses(not specific incidents, but generally) she commits, and I am going to have the LP guy, all the customer service managers, and several key cashiers who wait on her a lot, have them sign and initial the list, and I am going to speak with the head store manager, guy who's name is written on all the receipts and see what he does. I was going to speak to him regardless, but I figure so as to not waste his time I was going to come prepared. I am going to write how she costs us money, how she makes other customers wait longer in line because she ties us up with her BS which could result in lower survey scores. She is annoying, but I am going to make the effects of her actions clear. She frauds us, results in less bonuses for employees and as a result, unhappier customers because they have to wait behind a moron wasting our time.

I was told by the three people I asked(two customer service managers and LP) and they said thats a great idea. One however told me its a great idea but dont be surprised if nothing happens.

Oh well, can't hurt to try?
