You do happen to stumble across random stuff you like if you check around, which is cool.

I like certain genres, such as emo(which im using to mean -at the risk of sounding HIP- actual emo from the 80s and 90s[and bands today with the certain style), but no matter how deep you dig, even though the history has already been written and no new 80s/90s emo bands can exist because they all already did: there is always a band or two you find randomly thats killer that you never heard of before or have but decided to check out. Its probably impossible to discover everything from a genre that rose to prominence in the late 90s even though the quantity is set in stone.
