The X resembles the crossing between the two halves of the one game. As far as the books--at least as far as the one series, because I have other projects--go, I'm about 4/5 done with the second draft of book 1, and various distances of the way into books 2, 3, 4, and 9. There's also all of the notes I have in place for the other eight books of the series. Edit: Also, I still have a sample on Google Docs of the first nine chapters.
