You really can't compare SK to Rare at all.
Rare was a company that made countless AAA titles, then devolved into a Kinect shovelware company.
Silicon Knights doesn't make a lot of games. Eternal Darkness is their only really stellar title - they weren't exactly an amazing bunch before it. After Eternal Darkness, Too Human is pretty much the only video game they made.
Really, as long as Nintendo is publishing it, I'm not worried.
