I don't think that things that happen as an ability impact the fight anymore than it explicitly says in the ability. Bossman Coolguy is as seen in XCOM: Enemy Within as a Colonel of class MEC Trooper and carrying endgame equipment as well as a Particle Cannon and Paladin with the Hyper Reactive Pupils and Secondary Heart gene mods. His weapons will self destruct upon leaving his possession. Bossman Coolguy starts the fight by the enemy team. This says he is as seen in XCOM starting next to the enemy team, not as seen in XCOM with an empty clip and needs to reload. --- Virtue - "You don't need a reason to Boko United." ...
