Topic	I just don't understand how some liberals vehemently defend Islam.

Some details I think need updating (such as a minimum income as opposed to minimum wage, which I may be able to be convinced on, as an example), but for the most part I agree. I think the Fight for $15 is silly and arbitrary -- not everywhere needs $15/hr to live on, and it's just that message for the simplicity. But I guess that's politics, fits better on a bumper sticker than "I want the minimum wage indexed to inflation." But the min. wage has lost value when adjusted for inflation over the decades, because for some stupid reason it isn't adjusted for that.
