So much so that they actually put him in one of the Minecraft: Story Mode games along with a few other popular Minecraft Youtubers. That being said, if it makes you feel any better, I barely know Markiplier or Game Grumps either. I've heard the names mostly because people on this board talk about Game Grumps constantly, but I've never even remotely given a shit about them, and about the only thing I can tell you about Markiplier is that he was on Tabletop once, and that he apparently did an Until Dawn Let's Play series. Also, apparently he has DJ voice and dyes his hair? Then again, I also never gave a shit about AVGN or Nostalgia Critic or Pewdiepie or whatever else people were all super-excited about 5+ years ago, either. The window for popularity in online media is super-tight in terms of generational differences. So yes, in 10 years, no one is going to give a shit about any of the people you thought were the most brilliant Youtubers ever, and you're not going to give a single shit about any of the people who are popular then.
