Suuuure you didn't. And maybe it's because of I haven't played L.A. Noire, but the only thing I find similar between it and Death Note is that they're kinda murder mystery with detectives.
Honestly, I just found it and thought, "Haha. It's funny cuz it's L, and the game is called L. A. Noire!"
