Maybe it's changed since I last used it, but it's radio stations were horrible when I tried it out.! I was baffled by some of the songs it was recommending. Pandora is by far the most intelligent radio station creator I've found.

That's why Spotify isn't a replacement for Pandora for me.

Well, I don't actually use the Spotify radio function that much, so you might be right, but I think the other stuff they have still makes it much more worthwhile. You can look up a playlist for basically anything and there will be tons of them, and then you can learn about new bands.

I don't know if it's different since I last used it, but I feel like Pandora just operated similar to traditional radio stations. Like for example if I put in Led Zeppelin, that station would start playing shit like the Eagles which I hate, two bands that aren't really sonically alike but fit under a traditional radio umbrella of "classic rock". I had similar experiences with hard rock/metal stations giving me shit like Korn. Most of the stuff if gave me is really mainstream, and I'm not saying that mainstream is necessarily bad, but it doesn't really help me find any new music. At best, it helped me discover that I liked some bands I had previously heard of but never really given a chance, but I think I've long since exhausted that usefulness.
