Yeah, same. That's the thing though, this should be everyone's train of thought. You would think your kid(s) would be the absolute most important thing in your life. I get being stressed or distracted or whatever. I just can't imagine being sober and being so zoned out that you aren't even aware of your immediate surroundings, or cannot even think to take a split second glance into the backseat as you exit the car. I would almost say that you shouldn't even be on the road at all if that's the case. I think it's going to boil down to neglect pretty much no matter what. Even "I'm only going in for like 2 min max, he should be fine."
