With Arria, sometimes I feel like I need to throw her a bone to keep her interested, but I do so at the risk of spoiling important details. It's a difficult balance to achieve. I think I mentioned this already, but I told her already how (at least in the first four episodes) only things Battler sees can be taken as 100% literally happening. Even though that's a spoiler I wouldn't normally say to people, I think Arria needed a hint like that so she wouldn't feel 'cheated' later on. I know feeling betrayed and trolled is some of the fun of Umineko, and I guarantee you Arria will experience some of that, but I didn't want her to feel so utterly betrayed that she loses interest. --- Account created-9/10/04.
