To be fair, "talking down to somebody" is literally flaming. Which the mods have always gone after when they notice it. Doing it multiple times in a single topic when his account history was a little spotty probably resulted in multiple moderations that eventually added up to purg. Because that makes it look less like he just made an insulting comment off the cuff once, and more that he's repeatedly abusing the same person multiple times, bordering on harassment. My guess is that someone basically went through that topic and marked every single post he made where he was being a bit of an asshole, and they all got modded one after the other (possibly even by different mods), so by the time they got to the last couple it looked like he was a serial offender so he got the worst punishment. --- "Wall of Text'D!" --- oldskoolplayr76 "POwned again." --- blight family ...
