Except for the fact that he literally has a post in the office. As for "OMGNEPOTISM" it's not unusual for presidents to appoint relatives to trusted positions. Even John Adams appointed his son to office and, more importantly, his closest and most trusted advisor was his wife.

You don't need any political experience to hold office. That's never been a requirement, nor should it be even if it would be practical.
