If the movie was 100 minutes, to use any easy example, she'd owe no more than $1.70...and even that would be up for debate because it depends if she ruined 100% of the first 10 minutes or only a piece of it which cannot possibly be measured. She ruined the experience of seeing the movie. A movie isn't a cake. You can't remove one "slice" and leave the rest perfectly intact. I think it was good for him to call her out for her behavior, but filing a suit is absurd. It makes me think that whatever was going on before they got to the movie was enough to make her feel uncomfortable and justify her departure. Then again, she left him stranded at the theater...it's curious he never asked for compensation for the cab ride home. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
