It can be difficult to keep track of newly-discovered side effects, since a lot of these drugs aren't well-established, but failing to notify patients about potential side effects is solid grounds for a malpractice suit, so most doctors are pretty good about it. wwinterj25 posted... These types of medications don't fix the issue and that's why I haven't taken any medication on that front. The likes of CBT is much more beneficial I would think. That varies on a case-by-case basis. There are plenty of cases that do respond better to medication than to any other treatment option, and those people should not be criticized or judged for going with the most (or in some cases, only) effective treatment. --- This is my signature.
