So if they've got an existing record, say, I will 100% stick to guilty, regardless of if I think they did this crime. Conversely, if I feel their crime was justified (like they killed the guy who stole their car), I'd refuse to go along with anything except "not guilty" because I believe they were right.

Tell them stuff like this. If you're being honest, they will likely know and recuse you.


You're aware that not all court cases are criminal, right? In fact, some of the worst cases are civil.
