Metro2 posted... Gee, lots of people being fired in this administration. I mean, he did campaign with draining the swamp. Except most of the people he's fired have been "the best people" that he himself brought in when he took office. Never mind that his slogan is bs and he's loaded the swamp w/ more corporate execs than have ever been in a cabinet and largely just gone after government scientists and other employees who are non-political, middle class, have absolutely no power over the regulations they must abide by and actions they're told to carry out, and serve an entire career, through both R and D administrations. But yeah, YEE-HAW, drain that swamp! Except that's still draining the swamp because it's not just Washington insiders and lobbyists, it's mostly outsiders so outside that they have little business being inside. knivesX2004 posted... Given that the strongest evidence so far was that an ambassador met with a Russian official, discussing nothing of importance, and then neglected to reveal the meeting to anybody, it's the least compelling evidence ever. Why can the under investigation party fire the investigator? First off, the investigation is more than one person so "the investigator" is bogus. Second, there's literally nothing to the investigation in the first place.
