This section of the contest rules makes it very clear: The Best Year in Gaming Bracket Challenge (the "Contest") begins on April 14, 2017, and closes May 22, 2017. The entry period for the Contest begins on April 14, 2017, and closes on May 1, 2017 at 4:59:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time ("PT"). The Contest will be played in the form of battles presented in bracket format. There will be thirty-five (35) battles in total.
