Topic	So a marriage license is voided if you don't prove of a ceremony?

When my wife and I went to get our license, the clerk had us raise our hands and swear that, to the best of our knowledge, we were not already family members. Don't even need a blood test, I just have to tell some random dude at the courthouse that I'm pretty sure I'm not marrying my sister, and we're good to go.
