The point is I disagree with welfare. You talk about basic income but I honestly don't give a single fuck. I drew the golden ticket into a very wealthy family. You should hold some standard of pride before asking the government for money. So you admit you got lucky and then decide that is a valid argument as to why others should think like you? My mother died when I was 3 months old, my father has always been locked up, and when my grandma was in her 40s (and I was like 6) she had congestive heart failure and went on disability while single-handedly raising me. Do you honestly think that we started with the same proverbial poker hand?
