Never died too much or went through the game without a challenge.


IIRC there was a problem with the PC version of Max Payne 2 where the difficulty did scale up if you were doing well but it wouldn't scale down if you started having problems, so if you breezed through the first few levels and suddenly started to struggle halfway through you were boned
