It was kind of a scare with the last couple of semesters when the people who managed the PACT program thing happened. PACT was an Alabama program where you pay into it while your kid is growing up and then they pay for tuition. Then, 2008 happened and investments crashed and now suddenly they didn't have as much money as they were supposed to anymore. So for a while they were just offering "sorry for screwing you over not my fault" as consolation but then they decided to lock it in at 2010 rates, so I managed to finish school afterall. I dunno what happened with the program after that because I guess I didn't care after I graduated in 12. Was still a lot out of pocket but could have been everything, which would have not been possible. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
