Topic	i like how some games nowadays avoid the stigma of "easy" mode

I always saw easy mode as being for the purpose of enjoying the story without worrying about dying a lot and starting over. Hard mode is the opposite, ideally. You won't get much enjoyment from the story because of the constant dying, but the gameplay will be challenging and rewarding. Normal mode is a nice balance between the two.
