CE never fails to amaze me with its mind-numbing stupidity about mental illness, further exemplifying why this country has a major problem in regards to it. Could you imagine if that guy had a kid? Would probably be worse off than Squader's.

Someone said that Squadder hasn't even seen his kid for a long time so it's safe to assume that they're doing fine.

Suicidal thoughts are a bitch though. I used to have them a lot but for some reason they eventually stopped. I genuinely don't know why. Maybe something happened to my brain when I got older since they were pretty intense in my teenager years and throughout a lot of my 20s. "Getting over it" isn't really tough love, it's kinda useless for the one going through it. I mean, yeah, you can "power" through them but it doesn't solve the issue if you have them constantly. I think what kinda helped was this site:

https://www.metanoia.org/suicide/

Mainly the part that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and about lack a lot of coping resources. I mean I guess you can say that I did "get over them" but I think I had a lot of privileges that helped me that a lot of people suffering don't have, so it's not really good advice to give. I definitely would have gotten some sort of help for them when I could.
