Topic | Why do you sometimes see IIII for the Roman numeral for 4? |

Been done that way since the Roman Empire interesting, never thought about that, but i suppose it does do that {I, II, III, IIII} {V, VI, VII, VIII} {IX, X, XI, XII} 3 subsets of 4 elements that share a common symbol in each subset (I, V, X) that's neat i have seen this before, but not terribly often --- get ready for a backside attack ;) ...
