I remember there was a topic about how unlikable Brian was on the IMDB boards for Family Guy and it was basically a giant circle jerk about how terrible his character was. So to my surprise when they killed him off, I go back on the board and there was a giant shit storm about it, even from users who originally said that Brian was a shitty character. Personally I never really liked Brian and kind of gave up on the show when Stewie stopped trying to kill Louis and when it started getting really political.
