As for the 90's kids thing I guess I was too narrow. Maybe I offended some people or something.

I was born in 91 and by the time it was 99 I was 8 years old. I was a young teen in the mid 2000's and even though it is very young, I don't really consider that being a kid. I mean I was still 10, 11, and 12 in the early 2000's so that does count. I take pride in being born in the last millenia, though.

Being a kid, to me, is playing with a Hercules sword from Walmart and pretending to be a warrior and dressing up as a character sometimes, having to call your parents for permission to hang out at someone's house, etc.

I guess a lot of that still happens at 13 but it feels more adult like because of puberty and whatnot. I suppose it also depends on your upbringing. My childhood kind of ended for me at 7 because of my mother's death. Some people (not me) arguably never even had a childhood. Some kids who had to work in the fields with their parents and not go to school from the old days, etc.

I guess it really varies. I don't consider myself a 2000's kid though. Or, if I would, i'd be a 90's and 2000's hybrid because I have fond childhood memories from the 90's.
