When most Jews give up the religion, which is increasingly the norm, they stop being "Jews" within like two generations because they assimate into the mainstream. I feel like you dont really see generations of ethnic Jews like you do with other ethnic groups like Hispanics or blacks once they're secularized.. Once they lose the religion I wonder if there's anything that really binds them as a group.
