From what I've gathered it sounds like a man was asked to get off a plane, he refused, so they removed him. Sounds fair to me. Flight was fully booked. United wanted to replace passengers with employees that were slated to work on a flight in another state. Passengers did not want to accept offer of $800 and hotel stay for leaving voluntarily. United runs lottery to decide who gets forced off of flight. Lottery falls on the doctor who was supposed to be at a hospital the next morning. Doctor tries to refuse, so United called security to rough him up before taking him off of flight instead. CEO lies about situation. The end. --- Hmm... ... Copied to Clipboard! |
