Overbooking is a shit practice anyway. I'm glad united is getting exposed. You need to get your employees somewhere? Thats on you. Guy shouldn't have been made to give up his seat to begin with


There are ways to deal with that situation. One is to simply have four seats already on hold just for employees. Another would be to ask if anybody wants to give up their seat BEFORE they board the plane.

The way they handled it was just stupid on all levels, and clearly created a huge PR disaster for them.
