Topic	Why are sony and xbox gamers obsessed with sticking to discs?

The "physical only" mentality is a stupid trend. I dont mean sticking to discs over digital I mean sticking to discs over cartridges I have this bad habit of replying to thread titles and not reading any of the contents. I remember this being a debate during the PSX/N64 era. If cartridges, or even floppy disks had the storage capacity and could stand up to modern gaming, i'd be entirely on board.
