| K181 04/10/17 6:12:04 PM #43: | Skull Island was a fun, high budget B-film that makes for a great popcorn flick. Jackson's Kong attempted to be an epic like the original but it got bogged down by its pretty poor pacing and prolonged dull moments. I'd say that Jackson's Kong at its best moments was better than Skull Island, but averaged out I'd unequivocally say that Skull Island was a better film and expeirence overall. That being said, I do appreciate the higher reach of Jackson even if he did fall well short. --- The poster formerly known as Kakarot181: July 2, 2002 - March 14, 2012.
