Nothing happened except china was dropped down to one city. Several turns later england dropped friendship and a mutual protection and started denouncing everyone... She tried to spy which caused me and every other empire to denounce her (she responded in kind...noone listened) about this time i started getting the "wearing your jeans and listen to your pop music" from a few empires..
