Note while this is something I really noticed, I am not complaining about and think this is just kind of funny.

While playing Mass Effect, I noticed this everyone is super fit and average hight/tall. There are no short people or chubby people. Then you start thinking about things like Star Trek and while I am guessing there were normal fat people here and there as extras off world I don't think anyone on the crew was fat( remember they are not military so are there standards of fitness).

However I do remember they had one race of fat guys. And they were dumb and kidnapped La Forge to make their "ship go".

Then in Star Wars the only fat people are either dumb or criminals.

The Matrix, had people who were buff in Eden. And yet no fat people. While one might say oh they didn't have that much food there. To make the gains that some of these people did they were not lacking for food.

There have been like 600 power rangers have there even been a fat one of those ( I don't know). But they had like a 10 year old once and he grew normal size when he transformed. But a fat guy can't lose weight when he morphs.
