I want to know how Republicans suggest someone working a low skill job in inner city Atlanta or rural Kansas is going to just up and get a better job with all that money they don't have to move or afford higher education.

People on reddit exaggerate how much automation is going to take over jobs in the near future, even jobs like cashiers.

People don't like to deal with robots.

People didn't want to deal with metal horses either. Some people still think the Internet is pointless.

The world moves right on past them.

You're so naive, anyway maybe people in that situation should go get an apprenticeship as a plumber or AC man or literally anything like that. They won't though because they are too lazy and don't want to work hard.

Yes, but then what happens those kinds of things are the only option. Then you have a market over saturated with those jobs which drives down the value of the labor. IE then you'll have a ton of people with HVAC degrees that won't be able to pay off their loans because they won't be able to get work, and what work they get won't pay much because of the glut of HVAC guys on the market.
