Granted, the way that you describe how your time control would be used might not work anyway because physical aging would continue during that. adjl posted... The problem with manipulating the flow of time is just how much of the world around you needs to be flowing at the same rate for you to survive. The fact that you can breathe air is dependent on the rate at which air molecules flow around one another and react with your cells. I assume that time manipulation creates a limited temporal field which includes things near the person. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to open a door when time is slowed or stopped. Plus, in theory, touching any object would probably do incredible amounts of damage without that function in place (well, assuming that time "stops" because your own speed has drastically increased) --- (\/)(\/)|-| In Zeus We Trust: All Others Pay Cash ...
